A jaunty red squirrel, maybe they are making a comeback in the Peak District? I do hope so. I have fond memories of red squirrels chasing all over a little cottage we stayed in in the Cairngorms. The original is painted in egg tempera paints on Herringbone weave linen, mounted on cream linen and framed in a dark slate grey wooden frame (37 x 27 cm) with glass.
