Print Sizes

Prints are sized to fit A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0 paper and canvas sizes.    The length of the paintings will determine the paper size used.

Paper Print Sizes:

Payment

Credit/Debit Card and Paypal

Payment online by credit/debit card and PayPal is accepted. Credit/debit card payments are securely processed by PayPal and currency conversion is automatic so payments may be made from most countries and bank accounts worldwide. Paypal has a very high level of security, customer privacy and protection, all transactions are performed over maximum security SSL encryption and your card/bank details are not stored or made available to us in any way.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Currently there is no VAT charged. Sue Prince Artist reserves the right to change this at any time.

Delivery

We endeavour to have the goods arrive within 7 days of order confirmation, but please allow a maximum of 30 days for delivery.

Prints and unframed originals: Postage to Europe (as defined by the Post Office) will cost an additional amounts. Postage to the USA and other destinations would be by quotation. This is not a ‘signed for’ or equivalent service.

Framed originals (no glass): Postage to Europe (as defined by the Post Office) will cost an additional amount. Postage to the USA and other destinations would be by quotation. This is not a ‘signed for’ or equivalent service.

Cancellation/Refunds

You may cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after you receive the goods (the statutory minimum is 7 days). Notice of cancellation should be sent to Sue@beechenhill.co.uk – cancellations must be received in writing. Goods must be returned in the original condition and shipped at your cost. The goods must be securely wrapped and packaged before shipping in the original packaging or similar equivalent. Once the returned goods have been received and checked, you will be issued a full refund, usually via the same payment method used for purchase (e.g. paypal refund).

Order Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel any order for an Original Work of Art or Printed Work placed via the website if we determine that the item is mispriced, out of stock, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable at the price listed via the Site. If we cancel an order placed via the website, we will send you an email confirmation of such cancellation and you will not be charged for your order.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

1. By booking a place on a workshop, either verbally, by e-mail or via a booking form, you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below. The cost for attending the workshop will be as stated on the appropriate page of my website at the time of booking. Each workshop will be run by Sue Prince, Beechenhill Farm, Ilam, Ashbourne, Derbyshire DE6 2BD unless otherwise stated.

2.Unless otherwise stated, payment for day and evening workshop places is required in full in advance before a place can be confirmed. Places can be held without obligation until 6 weeks before the workshop date. If payment is not received by 6 weeks before the workshop date, your place will be cancelled and may be offered to another person.

3. For weekend workshops, a non-refundable £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place. The balance payment is due 8 weeks before the workshop date. If payment is not received by 8 weeks before the workshop date, your place will be cancelled and may be offered to another person.

4. You are invited to make payment either by BACS or by responding to an invoice. Details will be forwarded to you at the time of booking and when payment is due.

5. You will receive confirmation of receipt of payment and any final workshop information by e-mail.

6. Vouchers purchased from Sue Prince Artist may be used in payment. A voucher is deemed to have been spent at the time that payment is normally due. Cancellation terms will be as per paragraph 7 below.

7.Payment is non-refundable. However, if I am notified of cancellation AND your place can be filled, you will have the option of transferring your booking to a suitable alternative workshop.

8.We reserve the right to cancel a workshop should there be insufficient demand, or as a result of any other extenuating circumstances. In such an event, payment will be refunded in full as soon as is reasonably possible after cancellation.

9. There may be circumstances in which I need to postpone a workshop or change the venue at which a workshop is to be held and if I do, I shall advise you of this as soon as reasonably possible. If as a result, you are unable to attend the workshop, you will receive a full refund.

10. My sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of venue shall be limited to the price paid by you for such workshop and I shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.

11.Workshops will run with a minimum of 5 persons. The maximum number of people will not exceed 12 persons. However, there may be some circumstances when numbers will vary dependent on the workshop project. This will be specified in the workshop information on the website.

12. Your personal data will be used as detailed in my Privacy Policy which can be viewed on my website.

13.Information about each workshop, including the location, is published on my website prior to booking and I will deliver the workshop in accordance with that information.

14. Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for workshop notes, instructions, designs and photographs belongs to me and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.

15. Tea, coffee, home-made biscuits and cake are provided on workshops at no additional charge. A gluten-free cake option is normally available.

Should you have any food allergies or other specific requirements please let me know at the time of booking and I will do my best to accommodate you. However, as cakes and biscuits are prepared in a home kitchen, I cannot guarantee that refreshments are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies, but all efforts are made to minimise this risk where requested. We will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed during workshops.

The Haybarn Beechenhill Farm Terms and Conditions for Hire from 2024

 

The standard conditions of hire apply to all hiring the Haybarn Gallery. If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following please contact the Sue Prince (the owner) on  info@beechenhill.co.uk immediately.

 

DEPOSIT

The deposit may be due at the time of booking. Subject to any charges for breakages and/or damage the deposit will be returned in full to the Hirer within 28 days of the hire date.

 

HIRE CHARGE

The Hire Charge is payable by agreement with the owner.

 

USE OF PREMISES

The Hirer shall not use the premises for any purpose other than that described in this Hire Agreement and shall NOT sub-hire or use the premises or allow the premises to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way nor do anything or bring onto the premises anything which may endanger the same or render invalid any insurance policies in respect thereof nor allow the consumption of alcohol therein without the correct written permission.

 

In particular the Hirer must comply with the following actions:

 

  • All equipment used, including tables and chairs, to be treated as agreed with the owner
  • All breakages must be reported to the owner
  • Any audio-visual equipment must be switched off directed by the the owner
  • Taps must be turned off in the kitchen and lavatories

All kitchen appliances, including the urn, kettles and any portable appliances must be disconnected from the mains with the exception of the fridges and freezers.

  • The kettles and urn must be emptied of water.
  • The fridges and freezers must be emptied of ALL food/drink unless prior arrangements have been made with the owner, whence any such items must be labelled (or they may be removed and destroyed)
  • All lights, except emergency and security lights must be switched off
  • The gallery upstairs and downstairs, the stairs and the toilets must be left clean and tidy. Waste bins must be emptied and rubbish removed from site. Failure to comply may result in a cleaning charge being added to the hire charge

 

SUPERVISON

The Hirer shall, during the period of hire, be responsible for:

General supervision of the premises, the fabric and the contents, their care and safety from any damage.

 

The behaviour of ALL persons using the premises, including proper supervision of car park arrangements so as to avoid obstructions of the farm driveway.

 

The Hirer shall make good or pay for ALL damage (including accidental damage) to the premises or to its fixtures, fittings or contents and for loss of contents.

 

SMOKING

The Hirer shall ensure that the Hirer’s invitees comply with the prohibition of smoking in “Public Places Provision” of the Health Act 2006 and regulations made there under. In particular, the Hirer shall ensure that a strict NO SMOKING POLICY inside the Hall is enforced. Any person in breach of this provision shall be asked to leave the premises immediately. Any smoking outside and in the immediate vicinity of the Hall is to be controlled by the Hirer, having regard to pollution and risk and any smoking debris shall be cleared away by the Hirer on completion of the period of hire.

 

GAMING, BETTING AND LOTTERIES
The Hirer shall ensure that nothing is done on or in relation to the premises in contravention of the law relating to gaming, betting and lotteries.

 

PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLIANCE
The Hirer shall comply with all conditions and regulations made in respect of the premises by the Fire Authority, Local Authority, the Licensing Authority and the Management Committee or otherwise in connection with any event, which constitutes regulated entertainment, at which alcohol is sold or provided or which is attended by children.

 

MEANS OF ESCAPE
All means of exit from the premises must be kept free from obstruction and immediately available for instant free public exit. In advance of an entertainment or play, the Hirer shall check: that all escape routes are free of obstructions and can be safely used and that no fire doors are wedged open: that exit signs are illuminated: that there are no obvious fire hazards on the premises.

 

HEALTH AND HYGIENE
The Hirer shall if preparing or serving food observe all relevant health and hygiene legislation and regulations.

 

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE SAFETY
The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical equipment brought onto the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

 

IDEMNITY
By signing the completed Hiring Agreement, the Hirer indemnifies and keeps indemnified the owner (a) The cost of repair of any damage done to any part of the premises including the curtilage thereof or the contents of the premises (b) all claims, losses, damages and costs in respect of damage or loss of property or injury to persons arising as a result of the use of the premises (including the Storage of equipment) by the Hirer, and (c) all claims, losses, damages and costs suffered or incurred as a result of any nuisance caused to a third party as a result of the use of the premises by the Hirer. When it is considered appropriate the Hirer shall take out adequate insurance to insure the Hirer and members of the Hirer’s organisation and invitees against the Hirer’s liability and all claims arising as a result of the Hiring and on request shall produce the policy and current receipt or other evidence of cover to the owner. Failure to produce on request such policy and evidence of cover may render the hiring void and enable the owner to rehire the premises to another Hirer.

 

INSURANCE
Any equipment used and/or stored at the hall is the responsibility of the hall user. If there are any queries please email the owner

 

ACCIDENTS AND DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES
The Hirer must report all accidents involving injury to the owner as soon as possible and complete the relevant section in the Haybarn Gallery Accident Book. The Accident Book and First Aid Kit can be found in the bar. If any help is needed to complete the necessary form please contact the owner.

 

HEATING
The Haybarn Gallery has under floor heating, the boiler and/or thermostat must not be adjusted without prior permission from the owner. No unauthorised heating appliances shall be used on the premises, no LPG appliances are allowed in the hall.

 

EXPLOSIVES AND FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCES
The Hirer shall ensure that no highly flammable substances are brought into the hall and/or premises. No flammable decorations are to be used in the hall and/or premises, no decorations are to be placed near electric fittings.

 

NOISE
The Hirer shall ensure that the minimum of noise is made on arrival and departure, particularly late at night, and is responsible for maintaining orderly behaviour both inside and outside the Haybarn. Car door banging and loud conversation in the car park must be discouraged.

 

SALE OF ALCOHOL
It is a condition of hiring that alcohol will not be sold on the premises unless the Hirer has obtained the necessary license and has shown that license to the owner a minimum of 24 hours before the hiring commences.

DRUNK AND DISORDELY BEHAVIOUR AND THE SUPPLY OF ILLEGAL DRUGS
The Hirer shall ensure that in order to avoid violent or criminal behaviour care should be taken with the consumption of alcohol. Drunk and disorderly behaviour shall not be permitted either on the premises or in the immediate vicinity. Alcohol shall not be served to any person suspected of being drunk or any person suspected of being under the age of 25 without ID. Any person suspected of being drunk, disorderly, acting in a violent manner or under the influence of illegal drugs shall be asked to leave the premises immediately. No illegal drugs/substances may be brought onto the premises.

 

COMPLIANCE OF CHILDREN’S ACT 1989
The Hirer agrees to take such steps that are necessary to comply with the relevant Children’s Act 1989 as they may apply in respect of the hiring and that a ratio of one adult supervisor to 10 children or better is maintained when multiple activities are involved.

 

CANCELLATION
The owner reserves the right to cancel this hiring by written notice in the event of a change in circumstances. In the event of the Haybarn being rendered unfit for use for which it has been hired the owner shall not be liable for any resulting loss whatsoever. The owner reserves the right to cancel any hire period by written notice to the Hirer.

 

STORED EQUIPMENT
The Management Committee accepts no responsibility for any stored equipment or other property brought on to or left at the premises overnight.

 

NO ALTERATIONS
No alterations or additions may be made to the premises nor may any fixtures be installed or placards, decorations or other articles be attached in any way to any part of the premises without written prior approval from the owner. The Hirer shall ensure no bolts, tacks, screws, bits, pins, Sellotape, ‘Blu-tack’ or other like material are attached/driven or fixed into any part of the Haybarn.

 

ANIMALS
The Hirer shall ensure that no animals except Guide Dogs/Disabled Dogs are brought into the premises other than with written prior approval from the owner.

 

FILMS
The Hirer will abide by the British Board of Film Classification when any films are shown, especially in respect of showing films to minors.

 

Note: The Haybarn  is not licenced for the streaming of live programmes on any device.

 

FIRST AID AND FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
The Hirer shall be aware of the location of First Aid Kits and Firefighting equipment.

 

NO RIGHTS
This Hire Agreement constitutes permission only to use the Haybarn and confers no tenancy or other rights of occupation on the Hirer.

 

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The Management Committee reserves the right to make reasonable charges for any damage to the property and/or contents incurred during the use of the hall as covered in the Hire Agreement.
In the event that the deposit does not cover these charges then an additional invoice will be raised.

 

WASTE
Rubbish bags are not provided. The Hirer must supply a sufficient quantity for use during the hire period.

 

NOTE: Rubbish bins at the Haybarn are not for public use.

 

IMPORTANT! All rubbish including kitchen waste must be removed from the site by the Hirer at the end of the hire period, unless an arrangement has been made with the owner at a charge of £20. Bottles and glass may not be put into the Haybarn bins

RECYCLING
Where possible we encourage Hirers to recycle waste products where possible.

 

TEA TOWELS ETC
We do not provide kitchen tea towels or towels, or table covers.

 

HIRE CHARGES
Hirers are advised that charges may be reviewed on 1st January annually. Hirings arranged before that date for events after that date will be charged at the rates applicable at the time of booking.

 

DISCLAIMER
Haybarn Gallery will not be liable in the event of any Haybarn Gallery equipment failing in use; The owner undertake to repair or replace failed equipment as soon as practically possible but cannot be held responsible for any consequential liability.
