At the start of Dovedale, the shady foot bridge, gives a promise of wonderful walks to come. This day was baking hot and the shady water was so welcome! The original is painted in egg tempera paints on Herringbone weave linen, mounted on cream linen and framed in a dark slate grey wooden frame (50 x 50 cm) with glass, (the image is 36 x 36 cm)
