Four Stiff Standers

Four stiff standers, four dilly danders, two lookers, two crookers and a wigwag. A traditional rhyme collected by Iona and Peter Opie. She died in 2017 and some of my work is inspired by her. The original is egg tempera painted on Acrylic gesso on herringbone weave linen. Original framed with glass and dark slate blue wooden frame.
