Beginners' Folk Art Workshops

2017 Folk Art Painting Workshop at St John Street Gallery Ashbourne

Monday 20th March, Tuesday 6th June, Monday 20th November

You will learn all the techniques, from grinding pigment and preparing the egg to using templates and lettering; all the skills necessary to complete your first piece of folk art.

Folk Art workshops for families and groups at Beechenhill Farm

Led by folk artist Sue Prince, you can create a piece of storytelling art, working together as a family or friendship group while staying in the comfort of lovely cottages or B&B at Beechenhill Farm

You can produce your own individual egg tempera folk paintings on linen, celebrating a special event or marking something personal to you.  You could get together to create a group work to celebrate a wedding, christening or anniversary!  This is a perfect activity for hen parties, families and groups.
Be inspired by your own stories.
